Tom Doherty concentrates his practice in audit and business advisory services. His 30 years of public accounting experience has focused on banking and surety bonding relationships for corporate clients in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, printing, distribution and professional services. Prior to joining MPC in 1995, Tom was a member of the audit staff of Arthur Andersen & Company in Raleigh.

As well as being a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, Tom is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association. He has served as a member of the Habitat for Humanity Family Selection Committee and also as Treasurer of HopeLine, Inc. Tom is active with the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.

Tom is a 1993 graduate of Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy.
